Ferry Plaza Farmer's Market. The Farmer's Market is my favorite place in San Francisco -- foodie shops in the newly renovated Ferry Building are open every day, and farmer stalls are there every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday!

The Metreon. The Metreon is half movie theatre, half amusement park, with futuristic restaurants, shops, arcardes, IMAX, and oh yeah, movies.

Golden Gate Park. Golden Gate Park is one of the largest city parks in the United States. Try bringing your roller blades or bicycle on Sundays when a portion of the park's main road is closed off to cars.

San Francisco Public Library. The public library recently moved to a new building that features a stunning spiral staircase, the inspiration for its logo.
